Thyroid diseases are usually diagnosed by several functional methods, radioisotope scan, ultrasonography and fine needle aspiration cytology, Rapid development of high resolution gray-scale ultrasonography enable us not only differentiate cystic
or
solid, benign or malignant nodule but also histologic characteristics.
